In March, fifty-seven First Year students completed the first round of the Junior IMTA competition. Six students progressed to the next level in St. Columba's College, Stranorlar on Friday, 12th May. The students represented CCS, competing against thirty other students from across Donegal. It was some day for Mekhi Crumlish 1A, who brought home a trophy for 2nd place in the county, narrowly missing out on first place. All the remaining students ranked very highly, and you can't take that away form them. Well done to all involved! We knew we could count on you...Mrs. Breda Doherty and Miss Sharon Coyle helped the students prepare for the competition and also accompained them to the event. It all added up to a very successful evening for the Maths Department in CCS.
