On Tuesday, 4th October, past staff joined current pupils and staff to mark the passing of Brian Mullins, principal of CCS from 1991 until 2000. Fr. Baker, school chaplain during Brian's principalship, delivered a heartfelt eulogy while recounting a couple of comical stories. Principal John McGuinness spoke of Brian's outstanding contribution to the school's pastoral care structures, and the campus infrastructure - legacies that endure to this day. The school choir, coordinated by Ms. Coyle and Ms. Cavanagh, provided a fantastic musical backdrop to the afternoon. Brian would surely have been proud of the gathering, given that he was instrumental in delivering the Áras to CCS as a first grade function hall. Ní imithe uainn atá sé, ach imithe romhainn.
