Congratulations to Daria Poterlevych, who has just become the first Ukrainian student to complete the Leaving Certificate at CCS. Daria’s journey with us began in September 2022, and in just two short years, she has made an incredible mark on our school community.
Her commitment to her studies has been nothing short of inspirational, particularly when considering the challenges she has faced. Daria’s journey at CCS was not just about her personal academic success. She played a vital role in supporting other students, particularly those learning English as an Additional Language (EAL). Her caring nature and willingness to help others reflected her character, making her a beloved member of our school community.
On Friday, August 23rd, Daria received her Leaving Certificate results, achieving an impressive 555 points. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to her hard work and dedication over the past two years. We are delighted to share that Daria has been accepted to study medicine at the University of Galway, where we are confident, she will continue to excel and make a positive impact.
Daria’s story is one of perseverance, strength, and unwavering commitment to her goals. We are incredibly proud of her achievements and the bright future that lies ahead.
