Science Pupils Experience the Exploration Dome

On Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th April our school had the exciting opportunity to host the Exploration Dome, an interactive and immersive experience that brought Science to life for our students. Using state-of-the-art Full Dome 360° 3D digital projection technology, stunning graphics, and advanced computer simulations, the Exploration Dome provided a truly captivating learning environment.

3rd Year Science students explored key terms and concepts from the Earth and Space strand of their Junior Cycle Science curriculum. This session allowed them to journey through the wonders of our planet and beyond.

Members of our Science Club had the chance to explore the intricate workings of the human eye. The dome's incredible technology offered them a look at the eye's structure and function, enhancing their understanding through a visually immersive experience.
