Fifteen Transition Year pupils enjoyed an exciting drama workshop, A Day with Bruiser, at The Playhouse, Derry last Thursday. As part of the TY Drama module, students explored Bruiser Theatre Company’s unique physical theatre style through three engaging workshops led by expert facilitators.
The high-energy sessions encouraged creativity, teamwork, and confidence-building, offering a valuable insight into performance techniques. This opportunity comes as Drama gains prominence in Irish education, with the introduction of Leaving Certificate Drama, Film, and Theatre in 2025.
A fantastic day was had by all, leaving students inspired and eager to develop their drama skills further!
